Isabelle

Isabelle is a third-year student studying Biomedical science, majoring in Molecular Pharmacology and Medicinal Chemistry. She attends Victoria University of Wellington and hopes to pursue a career in biomedical research. Isabelle has a passion for science and loves how it explains the world around us.

Isabelle’s teaching style is structured, breaking down complex questions into smaller, manageable steps which help to make the question more achievable. She focuses on foundational knowledge and skills, as these are key to understanding more complex concepts and problems.

She believes that it’s important for students to be exposed to exam-style questions so that they feel confident sitting exams and find them less intimidating. Isabelle wants her students to feel relaxed during tutoring and comfortable asking questions. She is able to tutor Science, Biology, and Chemistry.
