Emily
Wellington TutorEmily is currently studying a Bachelor of Law (LLB) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) majoring in Political Science and International Relations at Victoria University of Wellington. Emily loves that her studies allow her to learn more about the world around her and hopes to practice commercial law when she completes her studies. Emily is available to tutor English, History and Science. When not studying or tutoring, Emily enjoys getting involved in the Arts. Whilst at school she was heavily involved in musical
theatre, singing, guitar, piano and drama, later cultivating this passion in the role of Deputy Head Girl of Arts.
She has also enjoyed getting involved in debating and speech-making and was selected for the Lions Club NZ Young Speechmaker National finals. Emily hopes to empower students to help them grow into more independent learners and to achieve their goals. She values the holistic model, as utilised by Inspiration Education, and believes that many factors that can affect a student’s learning. Emily is organised, enthusiastic and patient in her approach to tutoring. She believes that every student learns differently, and is flexible in her tutoring style to bring the best out of every student. She is passionate about learning and sees it as a lifelong journey.
