Charlotte is currently in her second year at Victoria University of Wellington, studying a Bachelor of Science majoring in Ecology & Biodiversity and Biotechnology. She is passionate about the environment and hopes to travel while working in conservation in the future. She has finds tutoring incredibly rewarding and loves working alongside students to help them to reach their potential.
Charlotte values the holistic model of learning where each student’s tutoring experience is tailored to them and their goals, and she aims to provide a positive, relaxed environment that fosters self-confidence and enthusiasm about learning in students.
Charlotte’s tutoring lessons are focused on delivering information in a variety of ways such as discussion, diagrams and quizzes. One-on-one tutoring also gives her the ability to work through content at the student’s own pace and break down ideas into manageable pieces in order to build a stronger understanding of the information. Along with content, she also likes working on transferable skills that can help students throughout high school, university and beyond, such as study techniques, self-management and mindset.
