Hamilton Tutor

Catherine is a fourth year student at The University of Waikato and is studying towards a Bachelor of Law/ Bachelor of Science conjoint with a major in Molecular and Cellular Biology. With these qualifications, Catherine wishes to combine both her passion for law and for science by pursuing a career in medical law.

Catherine has always had a passion for learning which she practises through her aerial dance, New Zealand Sign Language and singing. She is a charismatic tutor who is excited to be sharing her passion for learning with others. She is friendly, organized and ambitious. Catherine is very passionate about seeing and helping her students improve both intellectually and mentally. She works best with students who are goal-driven and those who are keen to learn. She allows students to grow through helping them understand the topics they are learning in detail whilst also providing support in regards to things such as time management and goal-setting.

Catherine finished Year 13 at the end of 2017 and is a recent student of the NCEA system. This means that she will be able to use her past experience and knowledge to assist with the students’ learning in regards to what is expected in assessments. She wishes to not only assist her students succeed within the school system, but she also wishes to help ignite a passion for learning. She is available to tutor at the University of Waikato library, the Hamilton Central library and online via zoom.
