Caitlin

Hamilton Tutor

Caitlin is in her second year at the University of Waikato, studying towards a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English and minoring in Education. She is enjoying her time at University, and all that she is learning. Caitlin’s future goal is to become a teacher, and be able to work with, and support students in their learning journeys. She went to Wellington Girls’ College, and gained beneficial study and NCEA experience to tutor at all levels in Accounting.

Caitlin strongly believes that one-on-one tutoring is a great way to empower and encourage students in their learning. She believes that to do this effectively, all areas of a students life that impact on their education should be take into account. She believes that understanding the context of the content being learnt is important, and can also help student’s comprehension of a topic, especially in Accounting, and so works hard for this to be a part of her lessons.

Caitlin’s aim for tutoring is for the student to feel supported, and encouraged in their learning, and for them to feel more confident in their own ability and knowledge.
