Sarah
Dunedin TutorSarah is a third year student at the University of Otago. She is studying a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English and Classical Studies. Sarah has a strong interest in the science of society and the cultural, political, and social forces that have shaped our world. Sarah is a supportive tutor who strives to decode the complications of NCEA for students, and provide them with the tools necessary to become a proactive learner.
She believes that the most effective way to learn is to break down every concept into bite-sized pieces in order to build up to the bigger picture. Sarah encourages students to set challenging but realistic goals, so that even with her support, students are encouraged to become self-motivated learners. Sarah wants not only her students to achieve their academic goals, but to support them holistically through the strong connections she builds with them. Sarah can confidently teach Biology, English, History, Science, and Statistics.
