Hazel

Hazel is in currently her first year of a Bachelor of Science majoring in Ecology at the University of Otago. She loves the outdoors and is excited to get her degree and pursue a career which will allow her to follow her passions and help protect our natural environment. She likes being able to apply science to real world issues. Hazel has always enjoyed Maths and Science, and can tutor a range of subjects including Physics, French, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Calculus.

She believes that having a good understanding of these subjects can help students with all sorts of things in the real world, not just at high school. She aims to help students develop good transferrable skills such as problem solving and communications skills. Through tutoring, Hazel hopes to be able to make strong connections with her students and give them the skills they need to be successful in all areas of their lives.
