Adam

Dunedin Tutor

Adam is currently in his fourth year at the University of Otago, where he has recently graduated with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (BBiomedSc) and is doing a further year of Chemistry. He is enthusiastic about science as it reminds him of the spectacular world we all live in. He particularly loves the variety that science has to offer, and the way it challenges us to think differently about the natural world. Adam can tutor Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths and English.

Adam is en route to becoming a secondary high school teacher, where he will be able to teach Biology, Chemistry and General Science in schools. Adam is, and always will be, passionate about education and the power it brings to people. He invests his experience and talents into students so that it encourages them to become independent learners at school, and throughout the rest of their lives.

He is a confident tutor that involves plenty of engagement and support in his lessons. He often conveys key concepts by applying them to real life examples that have real life value. Although not formally an art student, he is a visual learner/educator that utilises colour and graphics in his tutoring methodologies. Adam is 100% committed to the journey , and is excited to witness the success that his student desires.
