Dillon

Dillon is in his second year studying software engineering at the University of Canterbury. He was drawn to engineering due to its focus on problem-solving in a real-world context. Problem-solving is an integral part of the subjects he can tutor and a big reason why he thoroughly enjoyed them during NCEA. These subjects are Mathematics/Calculus, Chemistry, Physics.

Dillon is motivated to help his students succeed and enjoys seeing the progress they make. He utilises practice problems in his tutoring to build problem-solving skills and comfortability with being assessed. He also explains concepts from the basics to give his students a full understanding. This ensures that they can still perform well even when taken aback by a surprise question.
