Auckland Tutor

Jeny is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Jeny has experience working with and teaching diverse students, being actively involved in her high school tutoring programme, and being an assistant instructor at her Taekwon-Do club. She can tutor NCEA Chemistry and Biology up to Level 3, and Physics and Mathematics (Calculus) up to Level 2. Jeny is aware that different students have different learning styles and ensures her teaching approaches cater to the student’s needs. She generally likes to focus on the broad, general idea of a concept and then breaks it down into smaller bits, placing importance on completing practice questions. She believes this is the best way to solidify what you have learned.

Jeny is also knowledgeable in time management and study techniques, focusing on goal setting and prioritisation. She is familiar with the NCEA marking schedules and understands what students are required to do to perform well. Jeny is a friendly, approachable person with a positive attitude. She shows a love for learning and wishes to encourage others to see education as a valuable tool that can be used to shape the future. It helps build us as individuals, instilling beneficial characteristics and skills which can be used across all facets of life. She understands how hard it can be when you do not understand a particular subject. She believes that asking for help and support is the best thing to do, allowing you to grow and succeed in your educational journey.
