Jazz

Jazz is a passionate academic, currently studying Criminology and Psychology at Te Herenga Waka, Victoria University. With goals to pursue a PhD in these subjects and eventually lecture them, she is thrilled at the opportunity to start this journey by tutoring NCEA Biology, English, Classics, Maths, and Statistics.

Jazz believes strongly that with the right support, any student can thrive in their given subject. When tutoring, Jazz takes a student-centered approach, asking several questions to test the students current knowledge and encourage them to think outside of the box. It is a goal of hers that her students feel comfortable and confident coming into both her lessons and their classrooms.

In her free time, you can find Jazz at the gym or in a nice café studying or crocheting. She has a compassionate, empathetic streak, constantly looking to connect with and understand people. You can trust that she will be an advocate for your child in all areas, academic or holistic.
