Student Successes

A small selection of some of the successes students have achieved when experiencing Inspiration Education’s method of educational coaching.

Baxter suffered from dysgraphia, which meant his writing level was four years below the national standard at Year 8. By the end of Year 11, he attained Merit and Excellence grades in English and History.

Having missed the previous year of school, Fatima needed to catch up on her schooling. We inspired her to earn some of the top grades in New Zealand for Biology and Chemistry, including scholarship passes. She is now studying at the University of Otago to become a doctor.

A talented sportsperson, Khem often missed school for tournaments. Khem initially came to Inspiration Education to help him get Merit and Excellence grades for NCEA Level Three, which he achieved. We also assisted in helping him study and prep for the SAT exam—his excellent result earned him a scholarship to a top US university.

A Level One English student, Becca was sitting on Not Achieved. After a year of tutoring, she attained Merit and Excellence grades in end-of-year exams.

Emily was awarded the Otago University Academic Excellence Scholarship because of her results in her Level 3 exams.

Julie has Asperger’s. As a result, she lacked the academic confidence to attend traditional school, and so she was studying NCEA via Correspondence. We not only guided her through her correspondence work but also inspired her to attend school the following year.

Jess harbored dreams of attending university—but she was having a difficult year academically. We helped her turn around her year so that she had sufficient credits to get into a competitive university course and pursue her dream.
