Tejas believes setting goals is critical to success. He strives to helps students set realistic and measurable process-based goals in order for them to grow academically, and have more confidence in their own abilities. He acknowledges that in traditional high school settings, often the rate at which academic content is delivered fails to suit the learning needs of every student. With this in mind, he provides individually tailored lessons that cater to the specific student’s current academic ability, their interests, and their learning styles.
Tejas loves discussion-based tutoring as he believes it allows students to have confidence in their own ideas and have greater control over their learning. He believes that discussing and conversing is important when the subjects he tutors often have no right or wrong answers. Beyond academia, Tejas is very passionate about his culture, highlighted by his interests in Indian cooking, film, and most recently, dance.
